Local Community Activist and Campaigner Tim Bamford of Skelmanthorpe has been selected to stand as the Conservative Candidate in Denby Dale in 2020. Tim, who leads a campaign group which is opposing unsutainable developments in Skelmanthorpe is looking forward to being able to represent local people at Kirklees Counci.
" I am really honoured to have been selected by our local members and look forward to campaiging across all the villages and communities of the Denby Dale ward. I intend to be a strong voice on the Council who will stand up for local people in an area of the Council that is often overlooked as everything is focussed on the urban areas of Huddersfield and Dewsbury." said Tim
